Another solo episode, this one is really close to my heart and touches deeper on a previous episode "For the Love of Being Selfish" .
I talk about why we've been conditioned to put other's needs before out own which then compounds over-time and signals to our bodies, body/mind, and all parts of ourselves that we aren't worth loving and our needs don't matter.
They even shadow-banned the #selflove on IG for a while, I mean come on!
The truth is, we have to love our selves before we can love anyone or anything else. As within so without. When we aren't loving ourselves and filling ourselves up we are constantly giving from a depleted cup and it is felt, it becomes inauthentic and further breeds resentment!

It's a short, deep and to the point one loves! Please enjoy!
Authenticity is the lived felt-sense of our truth from a space of embodied presence. Where we stay true to and live from the truth that is within us rather than the should's from the world, people, and society around us that we've been conditioned to believe we "should" behave like.
Dropping the masks and false identities for a life lived from authenticity is the most potent way to move through this human experience!!
That being said, I also discuss why I don't buy into the Goddess Culture, why it feels inauthentic and superficial to me, they why behind it as a method of spiritually bypassing our deep sisterhood wounds and also distracting and avoiding true depth and connection with the people and women around us.

This is my fave topic to talk about... because I'm about all things healing...
which means integration.
and also embodiment.
This episode dives into somatic work and building better relationships with the parts of you so you can open up space for more of your whole, authentic, original essence to be expressed through you.
All of the parts of the body/mind are us, of course; but until we learn to build relationships with and integrate them into the wholeness of self we will continue to struggle and suffer with embodiment and the grueling work of healing and evolution. AND healing gets to be simple... this work is the doorway to making that possible for you!

I think most of us have suffered, or are still suffering from some level of perfectionism.
Women are so trained and conditioned to be perfect in order to belong, be worthy of love, not step on anyones toes and to fit into some crazy Barbie sized societal box of expectation.
I also think we all know that this way of being doesn't serve us.
I unlocked a key recently on this top that I share with you in this episode that helps turn the key and unlock these parts of self so that they can more easily come into the integrated whole of self! You're Welcome ;)

Listen, if you don't put yourself first, nobody else is going to.
If you don't feel worthy, the world will reflect unworthiness back to you.
If you don't feel you belong, the world will reflect not belonging back to you.
Being selfish is equivalent to being FULL of yourself. Filling your own cup, loving yourself, being proud of yourself and your accomplishments and how far you've come.
The path to greatness and thriving is led through being selfish. Through putting yourself first and NOT through people-pleasing, self-abandonment, and trying so so so hard to not be seen as full of yourself, cocky, egotistical, conceited etc. But guess what? "If you're not full of yourself, who are you full of?" You're full of all the people who's opinions and judgements you are worried about if you were to be "too full" of yourself.
Have the courage to be SO FULL of YOU that there is no room for others judgements and opinions to effect you. Their opinions are their problem. Stay in your lane, keep your cup full, and allow all of your beauty and power to shine. Play BIG or go home. Playing small and hiding from our true power is for teenagers and people who would rather follow the herd. Be courageous enough to STAND OUT from the herd because you love yourself enough to be a little selfish!

Trust and Safety are an interdependent pair. They are also the two most important guideposts and signposts along our healing journey and inner-work.
With more self-trust, and trust in the divine, trust in the mystery; we begin to feel more safety. When we up-level our internal level of safety, it becomes easier to trust.
This is one of the core keys to embodiment, self-love, better relationships, and integration!

Lola Darling ~ Embodiment & Empowerment Facilitator
Born and raised in a small farming community, on a wheat and cattle ranch, just south of the Columbia River in rural Oregon, Lola learned young that she was different, that her energy and vibrant, rebellious passion and authentic zest for life was too big for such a small town.
Lola has been walking a path of liberation and embodiment since late 2009, when all of her psychic senses turned back on and her remembrance of soul and spirit was re-awakened. Somatics and transformation soon became her passion after graduating from Oregon State with a degree in fashion she swiftly left the matrix world she had known and became a Massage therapist, which is where she truly began to understand her capacity for facilitating healing and holding space in service to the healing, growth, and evolution of others.
Very early in Jan. of 2020 Lola and her family lost her father in a sudden and tragic car accident which changed everything on the internal landscape from which Lola had been navigating life.
She pursued and completed a certification with Layla Martin in the VITA method for coaching women in sex, love and relationships and has been in service to facilitating growth, healing, and evolution for others ever since as she continues to walk through the fires of her own evolution and initiations.
Lola currently offers 1:1 coaching for women, facilitates her own breathwork modality called 6 element breath, facilitates healing and bodywork at retreats and festivals and is birthing the revolutionary movement and membership of Elemental Embodiment as an offering of deep service to the collective to return to and remember our elemental nature and connection to Gaia, the stars, and the 6 elements both within us and all around us through the depths of transformation, embodiment, and liberation.
